He has over 23 years of experience in the ICT industry in Asia having held senior management responsibilities both in operational and advisory roles.
The breadth and depth of his expertise includes telecommunications, outsourcing, CRM, E-business, IT strategy, IT Governance, organizational restructuring, program management, project portfolio assessment, to name a few. He pioneered the development and deployment of a new paradigm called strategy@Work, which blends Strategy development, Balanced Scorecard, Project portfolio and project management to drive alignment, focus and speed in strategy execution.
A pronounced strategist and thought leader, Subba has consulted for leading telecom providers, banks, government agencies, Enterprise software and IT services vendors across Asia. His consulting engagements has been in strategy development, program management, performance management. go to market strategies, competitive profiling and competency assessment.
As an operational Program Director, he led one of the largest broadband rollouts in Asia, transitioned 4 large Managed Services contracts across Asia and was instrumental in managing 2 large BPO projects.
As an industry analyst he is considered a thought leader in his domain and has published several industry reports, delivered global briefings and was an invited speaker at over 40 industry events in Asia.
As a certified Executive coach he has leveraged his deep expertise about corporate strategy development with his knowledge of functional areas and then layers in empathetic listening, well-developed powers of intellectual synthesis and keen judgment. Many senior executives consider him to be a trusted adviser.
He also developed a new consulting methodology called ‘The Consultant Toolkit’ and trained over 350 consultants in this methodology.
